Batchelor Police have seized a vehicle in the township after a night of reckless driving earlier in the week. 🚨
Community residents reported the vehicle after it was sighted doing burnouts while the occupants were yelling out, whistling, and beeping the horn. They were even silly enough to do a burnout in front of their own home where police seized the vehicle from. 🚓
Constable First Class Brittany Stuart said, “Behaviour like this will not be tolerated with the car being impounded for a period of 48hours in line with anti-hooning legislation.
“We have lost 58 lives on the road this year. Drivers need to slow down and think about their behaviour and how it could affect them or others.”
